The Pediatric Surgery of Children’s Hospital of Chongqing Medical University is one of the most advanced pediatric surgery centers in China, including clinics, education and research. It’s also the difficult and critical diseases treatment center in west of China. The center has developed into branches: general surgery, neonatal surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, urology surgery, orthopedic surgery, neurology surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, burn and plastic surgery, oncology surgery and pediatric anesthesia. We have editor-in-chief of Pediatric Surgery textbook for the undergraduate and postgraduate. We also have associate directors of branch of pediatric surgery of Chinese Medical Association, the Chinese Medical Doctor Association of Pediatric Surgery, Chinese Medical Doctor Association of Pediatric Surgery Standardized Resident Training Program, director of Chongqing Medical Association of Pediatric Surgery Committee and the deputy editor-in-chief of Chinese Journal of Pediatric Surgery. We have Chongqing One-hundred Academic Discipline Leader Talent and Chongqing Talent innovation Team. Our team have won many awards including Science and Technology Progress Award of Ministry of Education, Song Qingling Prize in pediatric medicine, achievement award of the Chinese Medical Association, Chongqing Science and Technology Progress Award and Chongqing Municipal Health Bureau of Science and Technology Achievement Award. The reputation of pediatric surgery ranked fourth nationwide.
